Progress

The whole path, step by step

Every step of the game's progress tree in order, with how to get it.

First days Main path

  1. T1
    Log

Hit a tree trunk with your bare hand: it comes away one voxel (a 25 cm cube) at a time. An axe takes a whole 1 m cube at once.

    • First steps — Inventory (E) and the 3×3 grid, Recipe book, An item's page (I), Drop (Q)
    • Gather — Flint (gravel), Seeds (grass), Berries, Apples, Saplings (leaves), Small mushroom
  2. T2
    Planks

Put a log in the grid: one cell of log (16 voxels) gives 32 voxels of planks of that tree's wood.

  3. T3
    Stick

Two cells of planks one above the other in the grid: four sticks.

  4. T4
    Wooden pickaxe

In the grid: 3 cells of planks along the top, 2 sticks down the middle.

  5. T5
    Stone

Dig under the grass and dirt with a pickaxe: grey stone, granite, basalt, limestone, sandstone and other rocks are all "any rock".

  6. T6
Stone toolsStone pickaxe, Stone axe, Stone shovel

Any rock for the heads, sticks for the handles: pickaxe = 3 rock across the top over 2 sticks; axe = 3 rock on one side of 2 sticks; shovel = 1 rock over 2 sticks; chisel = 1 rock over 1 stick.

  7. T7
    Campfire

3 sticks in a teepee over a row of 3 logs. Set it down, right click it, put raw food and fuel (wood, planks, sticks or coal): 12 s a piece.
