Jupiter's orbit: gravity assist
Once your ship has been to Jupiter, the ways beyond it can pass by the giant: up to a third less fuel.
In the game
How to get it
Fly to Jupiter or Europa once. Then at the navigation table the ways to Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and their moons offer By Jupiter (the strip draws the way through the giant).
What it is for
The giant's gravity throws the ship on: less methane and less helium-3, a little longer on the way. You never land on Jupiter.
Why it exists
The giant does the work for you.
