A plated grazer of the Moon's dust, in herds: shears give dust felt and it sheds helium-3.

How to get it
Herds graze the dust deserts and crater walls of the Moon. Feed two adults lunar moss to breed them; shear them for dust felt.
What it is for
Dust felt (1 to 3 per shearing): half the padding of a rocket tank or a central dock. Every 6 to 9 minutes it sheds 8 voxels of helium-3 ore, a fuel four times as long as coal.
Why it exists
A gentle Moon animal to raise: the lunar farm is the base's padding and fuel.
