Put a ring collector aboard your ship and fly it into orbit round Saturn: its net sweeps the rings' dust as you fly, one ring dust every 20 s, nothing to put in. 8 ring dust in the Furnace: 1 kronite ingot in 12 s.
What it is for
The Kronite alloy (2 ingots and a titanium ingot in the hyperbaric press) and one of the nine ingots of the raisonite synthesizer.
Why it exists
Saturn's rings are dust that never falls: their metal slows falls and brings back what flies.
