How to get it
A steel ingot alone in the grid: 8 bolts. Steel comes from the Furnace (an iron ingot and 2 coal).
What it is for
Large pipes (2 bolts for 2), the tank and the large tank, steel shafts, gas cylinders, the refinery, large gear wheels (4), wind hubs and the large blades (4).
Why it exists
Big things are bolted, not glued: bolts mark the step from wooden craft to steel industry.

Bolts hold the heavy pieces of the industry together.
How to get them
Put 1 steel ingot alone anywhere in the grid: 8 bolts. Steel comes from the Furnace: an iron ingot with 2 coal in its reducer slot, 15 s.
What they are for
- Pipe: 2 bolts and 4 steel plates make 2 large pipes at the metal mill.
- Storage: the Storage tank, the Large tank, the Gas cylinder.
- Rotation: the steel Shaft, the large Gear wheel (4), the wind rotor hubs and the large blades (4).
- Chemistry: the Refinery.
Bolts and nuts: furniture and machines hold together.
