Nitrogen seal
A plump seal of Triton's polar cap. It lives near a geyser and dives into the vent just before it erupts: watch it and you know where the next eruption will be.

How to get it
Lives around the geysers of Triton's polar cap. When a geyser within 40 m is about to erupt, it hurries to the vent and dives under the frost, then pops out when the eruption is over.
What it is for
It announces eruptions and the tritonite they throw. Killed, it gives tallow.
Why it exists
An aid to whoever understands it: the geysers' timing, told by a living clock.

Tips
While it is under the frost you can see the frost stirring above it, and nothing can reach it.
