Space · How it works
Reusable rocket
Land your rocket in one piece, refuel it and take off again: the same rocket flies again and again.
In the game
How to get it
Come back to the ground softly (the autopilot does it), refuel from dewars or a fueling tower, and take off again.
What it is for
Each trip costs only propellant, not a new rocket.
Why it exists
Throwing rockets away is too expensive: a rocket is weeks of industry.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
A landed rocket stays where it is, saved with its propellant. A safe landing is at most 3 m/s down and 2.5 m/s sideways, legs out; the autopilot never lands harder and, short of fuel, lands where it is rather than crash.
Refuel it on the rocket screen or with a Fueling tower and fly again.
