Clean room
A whole satellite laboratory in a kit: right-click flat ground and the clean room stands there, its cradle and console inside.
In the game
How to get it
At the grid: 32 steel plates, 4 m³ of glass, 32 aluminium sheets, 2 fabrics, 4 circuit boards, 8 epoxy and 8 light bulbs. Right-click flat ground: a green ghost shows where it will stand.
What it is for
Design, build, check and pack satellites: an 8 x 8 x 8 m cradle and a console with ready-made models.
Why it exists
A satellite is a work of art: it deserves its own laboratory.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
How to make it
At the grid: 32 steel plates, 256 voxels of glass, 32 aluminium sheets, 2 fabrics (the air filters), 4 circuit boards, 8 epoxy, 8 light bulbs.
Placing it
Right-click flat ground: a 14 x 14 m building with a porch appears as a ghost, green where it fits, red with a sentence where it does not. The ground within 4 m is levelled, grass and flowers cleared; water and trees block.
Inside
- The cradle, 8 x 8 x 8 m, framed in yellow and black: build the satellite in it (solar panels, batteries, antennas, sensors, chips, cables).
- The console: "My satellite" (a checklist with lights: power, battery for the night, antenna, sensors, brain), "Models" (six ready-made satellites and their ground stations, built in the cradle in a click), "Orbit", "Name", "Pack it", "Ground stations", "Guide".
Packing
"Pack it" turns the cradle into a Satellite object (at most 2 000 kg, 1 kg per voxel): see Satellite.
