Submarine
A copper submarine for two under a dome of brass ribs: it dives, its riders breathe inside, its lamp lights the dark water.
In the game
How to get it
Craft it (Travel): four copper ingots, two brass ingots, a glass block, an electric motor and a battery -- it comes charged. Right-click water with it to put it down, right-click it to sit in, left-click to take it back.
What it is for
Explore under the water: Europa's ocean under the ice, the Earth's deep seas too.
Why it exists
The ocean of Europa cannot be seen from above: you have to go down.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
The game's only vehicle that goes under water.
Controls
- W / S: forward, back (the motor; a hand crank when the battery is flat).
- A / D: turn.
- Shift: dive, Space: rise (2.5 m/s); no key: it holds its depth.
- At the surface it floats with most of its hull under water.
