Architect's desk
Draw your own 4 x 4 x 4 piece on its board, make a blueprint of it, then build copies in the materials you choose.
In the game
How to get it
At the grid: paper, charcoal (the pencil) and paper across the top, 3 planks across the middle, a stick in each bottom corner. Place it and right-click: draw in the DESIGN tab, then make a blueprint and copies in the ASSEMBLY tab.
What it is for
Your own furniture, statues, ornaments and building pieces, in any matter: the same chair in birch or granite, up to 8 copies at a time.
Why it exists
Players should not be limited to the game's catalogue: the desk lets them design their own pieces, paid in real matter.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
A walnut drawing table with a pinned blue plan, a sliding T-square and a little lamp. It needs no power.
How to make it
At the grid: paper, charcoal, paper across the top, 3 planks across the middle, a stick in each bottom corner.
DESIGN: draw your piece
- A piece is 4 x 4 x 4 voxels of 25 cm, painted with up to 8 material slots.
- Tools: add, paint, erase, pipette, fill, mirror; undo and redo; a 3D view you can turn; layers; a name of up to 24 letters; the cost.
- Save, then Use on the desk. You keep up to 48 designs.
ASSEMBLY: build it
1. A sheet of paper and the voxels of one copy give a Blueprint (3 s). 2. The blueprint and a chosen material for each slot give up to 8 copies (Your own piece): exactly the voxels they hold are taken. Matter is conserved.
Tips
- A design that has a blueprint is frozen: saving it again creates a new design.
- The blueprint is never used up.
Draw a prefab of your own on its board, save it as a blueprint, then build it from the materials you choose.
