Boat
A rowing boat of the wood you choose: two seats, faster than swimming, a little hunger to paddle.

How to get it
In the grid: planks, a stick, planks on the top row and three planks below -- five cells of one wood and a paddle. Right click the water with it.
What it is for
Cross lakes and seas with a friend: the back seat steers, the front seat rides.
Why it exists
The world is wide and its seas are wider: the boat is your first vehicle.

The boat is a clinker-built rowing boat with a carved stem, two oars and a rudder, in the wood of its planks.
Recipe
Top row: a cell of Planks, a Stick (the paddle), a cell of planks. Bottom row: three cells of planks. All planks of one wood: you get a boat of that wood (oak, birch, redwood...).
How to use it
- Right click water with it: the boat floats there. It only goes on water.
- Right click the boat to board. Seat 0 at the back is the helm: whoever sits there steers. Seat 1 at the front is the passenger's.
- Your movement keys row and steer: about 4.2 m/s at full paddle.
- Paddling costs a little hunger (0.012 food point a second at full paddle).
- Riding in front with nobody at the helm? A hint says which key moves you to the back seat.
- Left click an empty boat to take it back in your bag.
