Farming & animals · How it works
Cooking
Raw meat and fish on a campfire or in a fireplace: twice the food points, minutes instead of seconds of satiety.
In the game
How to get it
Put raw food and fuel in a campfire or a fireplace: 12 s a piece on the spit or the gridiron. For a stew, a red and a brown mushroom and a bowl in the grid.
What it is for
A cooked steak gives 31 points and 5 minutes of satiety, a raw one 16 points and 30 seconds; a bucket of milk is drunk at any time.
Why it exists
You watch your food turn golden on the spit, and you eat better for it.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
Cooking doubles what food gives you.
Where to cook
- The Campfire: 3 sticks over 3 logs, burns wood or coal.
- The Fireplace: in bricks or stone against a wall; it cooks too, and heats and lights the room.
Each piece takes 12 seconds; you see it brown, sizzle and turn golden.
