Space · How it works
Pluto's ancient ruins
Courts of violet stone, broken walls and towers, glowing glyphs and a sunken room: about one every 7 km off Pluto's glacier, each kept by a guardian.
In the game
How to get it
Walk Pluto's tholin plains and blades with a light: the ruins' glyph friezes and obelisks glow in the night.
What it is for
Hadesite from their guardians; their glyph stone for your own walls; the way to the great ruin's secret.
Why it exists
Older than anything, and they explain where raisonite comes from.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
Ruins at the end of the Solar System.
A ruin
- A stone court 36 to 60 m wide, a wall 6 to 10 m tall broken in places, a glowing frieze along its top.
- Four towers, one or two fallen; two gates; a ring of pillars.
- The glyph obelisk in the middle, the guardian's altar.
- A sunken room down a stair.
Who built them
The ancients who raised these ruins grew raisonite in the great ruin under the heart and sent it across the Solar System: the violet shards fallen on the Earth and the pockets in the asteroids are what is left of it. The colonists of Mars were following that trail (Probe recorder).
