Liquid methane fills Titan's seas and lakes: take it with a bucket; it is the fuel of the far reaches (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto).

How to get it
On Titan, right-click a lake or a sea with an empty Bucket: a bucket of liquid methane. It runs and swims like water.
What it is for
Fuel for the far reaches: the methane refuels ships and feeds the machines that burn it.
Why it exists
Titan is the filling station of the outer system.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
Water's place on Titan is taken by methane.
Where
The seas around the poles, the round lakes of the polar lowlands, the drowned valleys reaching inland; on the equator only dunes.
The rain
Methane rain falls in spells of a few minutes: big amber drops, slowly.
Progress
Done when you hold a bucket of liquid methane.
