Chisel
Breaks one voxel at a time: fine sculpting, details on walls, statues and furniture.
In the game
How to get it
One head over one stick in the grid, in planks, rock, iron or titanium.
What it is for
Carve a 25 cm notch, a window, a relief; break a single voxel of anything without touching its neighbours.
Why it exists
Sometimes a whole cube is too much: the chisel is the tool of detail.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
The chisel is the sculptor's tool. Where a pickaxe takes a whole 1 m cube, the chisel takes one voxel (a 25 cm cube).
Recipe
One head over one Stick: a cell of planks, of any rock, an iron ingot or a titanium ingot. (A material beside a stick makes plaques instead.)
Use
- Hold the left button on any matter: the aimed voxel goes, nothing else.
- Per voxel it is only as fast as its tier (×1.10 for wood up to ×3.00 for titanium): its strength is precision, not speed.
- It wears with what it breaks, like any tool of its tier.
Ideas
Window slits, carved patterns in a stone wall, steps in a slope, the eyes of a statue.
