Stone tools
Pickaxe, axe, shovel and chisel with heads of rock: half again as fast and as solid as wood.

How to get it
Any rock for the heads, sticks for the handles: pickaxe = 3 rock across the top over 2 sticks; axe = 3 rock on one side of 2 sticks; shovel = 1 rock over 2 sticks; chisel = 1 rock over 1 stick.
What it is for
More life and more speed than wood: the pickaxe for ores, the axe for trees, the shovel for soil, sand and gravel.
Why it exists
Each tool is good in its own matter, and stone is everywhere.

Numbers
Stone tier: speed ×1.50 and about 108 cubes of stone of life (wood: ×1.10 and 71). A stone pickaxe breaks a cube of stone in about 0.8 s.
Tips
- Coal, iron and copper are all within reach of a stone pickaxe.
- Keep a shovel for digging and a pickaxe for rock: a pickaxe in dirt is half again slower, a shovel in rock five times slower.
