Raisonite shard
A violet crystal that rings like a bell, 35 to 110 m deep: two gold ingots and a shard make the first alloy.
In the game
How to get it
Dig deep, 35 to 110 m under the ground, for small violet pockets of raisonite ore (1 to 3 cubes) that glow faintly; cut it with an iron pickaxe or better; 16 voxels of ore in the grid give 1 shard.
What it is for
The Raisonite alloy: 2 gold ingots in the Furnace's ore slot and the shard in its reducer slot, 10 s.
Why it exists
The first alloy should come early but be earned: an iron pickaxe, a long way down, and a little gold.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
Raisonite is a crystal so hard it rings like a bell when struck.
Where to find it
- 35 to 110 m under the ground, in rare pockets of 1 to 3 cubes of violet ore with a faint glow.
- Deep caves and long tunnels find it; a spectrum view or a lantern helps to spot the glow.
How to mine it
An iron pickaxe or better cuts it; anything weaker takes twelve times longer. Put 16 voxels of ore in the grid: 1 raisonite shard.
What it is for
The Raisonite alloy alloy: in the Furnace, 2 gold ingots in the ore slot and 1 shard in the reducer slot: 1 Raisonite alloy in 10 s.
