A worm under the dust of the Moon's deserts that bursts out under its prey, dustbacks and travellers.

How to get it
It hides under the regolith of the Moon's dust deserts and labyrinths and erupts under you: keep moving, strike when it surfaces.
What it is for
Its drops: 2 to 4 maw plates (half the shell parts of a cockpit or a fairing) and 1 or 2 teeth (shell parts).
Why it exists
The Moon is not empty: its danger guards the best heat shields.

Where
Under the dust of the Moon's deserts, rare. Hostile, 160 health, 25 damage: it erupts, bites and whips, reaching 2 m.
Fighting it
It burrows: watch the dust move, step aside when it erupts, strike while it is out. It hunts dustbacks too: protect your herd.
Drops
2 to 4 Maw plates and 1 or 2 teeth.
