Lithium battery
Stores 10 kWh of what its cables bring and gives it back, up to 5 kW: power for the night.
In the game
How to get it
At the grid: 4 iron sheets in the corners, copper wire on top, 3 lithium ingots across the middle, epoxy at the bottom. Place it on your network.
What it is for
Keeps the sun's and the wind's surplus for the night and calm hours; charges the electric boat when you hold it; second in line after the sun.
Why it exists
Free power comes when it wants; a battery makes it come when you want.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
A battery takes what its cables bring and gives it back when the network needs it.
How to make it
At the grid: 4 iron sheets in the corners, copper wire top middle, 3 lithium ingots across the middle row, epoxy bottom middle.
- Lithium: lithium ore (big lodes on salt flats) melted in the Furnace with 4 coal, 1 ingot in 12 s.
- Epoxy: a binder (bone, gel or egg) over and under a hardener (venom, toxin, stinger or carnivorous seeds).
How it works
- Holds 10 kWh, takes and gives up to 5 kW.
- On a network the sun goes first, then batteries, then generators: a battery empties before any fuel burns.
- Holding a charged battery, right-click an Electric boat to charge it.
