On the rocket screen, Landing point: click a far place on the map, check the verdict, board and take off.
What it is for
Cross the world in minutes with passengers and cargo: link a far mine to your factory.
Why it exists
A rocket is also the fastest truck.

Short trips are ballistic hops: up to 70 degrees around the planet the rocket climbs on an arc and lands on the point; farther it goes through orbit. A 1 000 km hop costs about 4.7 km/s of delta-v; a 200 km one about 3.3 km/s. Add Cargo module modules to carry goods.
