Openworld is an online video game. This notice covers the website (www.play-openworld.com), the “Openworld” update program and the launcher (the applications that install and update the game and manage accounts), the game itself, the account service that connects them (core.openworld.pascard.com) and the statistics and bug report service.

The website, the account service and its database, the statistics and bug report service and its database, and the game downloads are hosted in France by OVH. The other service providers that process data for Openworld are listed in the privacy policy.

Intellectual property

The Openworld game, its launcher, their code, graphics, models, animations, sounds and texts, the website and the name “Openworld” are the work of Tom Pascard, who holds the rights to them. Any reproduction, distribution or reuse, in whole or in part, without written permission is prohibited, except as allowed by the terms of use (playing, taking screenshots and making videos) and by law (short quotation, private use).

Some components belong to others and remain under their own license: the Nunito font (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and the open-source libraries used by the game.

Reporting content or a player

Does a username, a skin, a message or a build seem illegal, hateful or dangerous to you? Write to contact@pascard.com with the subject “Report”. Say what you are reporting (username, server, date, screenshot if possible), why, and give your name and your email address. We review every report and reply to you. This address is also Openworld's single point of contact for the authorities and for users within the meaning of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), in French or in English. Personal data and cookies

What we collect, why, for how long, and your rights: the privacy policy. The website contains no advertising. It measures its audience with Google Analytics: without cookies by default, with its cookies only if you accept them (details; the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page lets you change your mind). The launcher and the game send usage statistics only with your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like in the launcher (details).
