Why it exists
Better than iron at no cost but a little coal: the knight's metal.

What it is for
- Steel armor: 24 ingots, 60 % protection, rigid against big blows.
- The steel sword: 36 damage, about 450 hits.
- At the metal mill: steel plates for floors, tanks and heavy machines; coil springs for clocks and mechanisms.
- Steel blocks to build with, the steel shaft that carries 32 kW.
