Mine the crimson aresite veins in the walls of Mars's great canyons, or take the chips of the old colony's drones (the dune worms swallow some too). 16 voxels of aresite ore and 4 coal in the Furnace: 1 ingot in 15 s; or 4 aresite chips: 1 ingot in 10 s.
What it is for
The Aresite alloy (2 ingots and a titanium ingot in the hyperbaric press) and one of the nine ingots of the raisonite synthesizer.
Why it exists
Mars is hard, and so is its metal: the fighters' alloy, mined or taken from what the colonists left.
