Electric radiator
Iron fins round copper coils: 1.5 kW of heat for the room around it, never a light.
In the game
How to get it
At the grid: 6 iron sheets (top and bottom rows), 2 copper coils and copper wire in the middle row: 1 radiator. Place it against a wall and bring it power.
What it is for
Heats a closed room: a remote base in the snow stays warm without a fire. A switch or a signal controls it like a lamp.
Why it exists
Below 12 °C hunger drains faster and far below zero you lose health: a cold base needs heating, and electricity heats without smoke.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
How to get it
At the grid: 6 iron sheets across the top and bottom rows, 2 copper coils on the sides of copper wire in the middle row.
How it works
- Against a wall, powered, it gives up to 1.5 kW of heat to the room around it.
- It is switched and dimmed like a lamp, but never lights.
- A room keeps its heat only if it is closed: a hole or an open door lets it out.
Why it exists
Cold is a real danger in Openworld: hunger drains faster below 12 °C and you lose health far below zero. A fireplace burns logs; a radiator only asks for power.
