Ruin guardian
An ancient stone construct, one at each of Pluto's ruins. It stands like a statue until you come close, then wakes and fights for the hadesite it guards.
In the game
How to get it
Each ruin has its guardian, bigger for bigger ruins; the great ruin keeps two in its hall. It wakes when a player comes within 9 m or strikes it, and never goes farther than 40 m from its post.
What it is for
Defeated, it drops 3 to 5 hadesite shards and raisonite shards. Twenty minutes later a new guardian stands at its post.
Why it exists
A mini-boss per ruin: Pluto's riches are earned.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
Tips
It slams in front of it, stomps the ground around it and charges whoever keeps away. Its waking (2.6 s) and its scale make it stronger with the difficulty and the number of players near. Walk away and it returns to its post, heals and sleeps again.
How to farm it
Twenty minutes after it falls, a new guardian stands at its post: a ruin near your Pluto base is a slow, sure hadesite mine (3 to 5 shards a fight, two shards an ingot). Ruins stand every 7 km or so.
