Maw plate
The dust maw's plates take heat twice as well as shell parts: lunar cockpits and fairings.
In the game
How to get it
Kill dust maws (2 to 4 plates each), or farm them: their plates fall where they die, a grid collects them.
What it is for
The lunar cockpit (8 plates for 16 shell parts) and the lunar fairing (12 for 24).
Why it exists
The Moon's danger pays for its rockets.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
Dropped by the Dust maw (2 to 4). Lunar recipes: Rocket cockpit with 8 maw plates instead of 16 shell parts, Rocket fairing with 12 instead of 24.
