Ice spectre
An invisible hunter of Miranda. Only its frosty breath gives it away: it exhales every few seconds, more often when it hunts you.
In the game
How to get it
Lives on Miranda, alone or in pairs, away from light. You will see its breath before you see it.
What it is for
Strike where the frost hangs. It shows for a moment when it attacks, when your blow lands and while it burns. It drops ectoplasm, and one time in four a glacite diamond.
Why it exists
A danger that rewards watching: it teaches you to read signs instead of shapes.

Tips
Set it on fire: a burning spectre stays visible. Keep your back to a wall so its breath always comes from in front.
How to farm it
Not a farm: two at most on Miranda, never in light. But each one beaten is a quarter of a diamond rain's best: hunt them along the cliffs between two rains.
