Basalt golem
Walks the burning ground of Venus: slow, almost indestructible, it shrugs off half of every blow and mends between fights. Outrun it, or beat it for its heart: a fuel four times as strong as coal.

How to get it
On the bare ground of Venus (never on the floating city's decks), alone, at any hour.
What it is for
Killed: its golem heart, a fuel that burns four minutes (four cubic metres of coal), and its bones. There is no coal on Venus: a heart fires the Furnace that melts your cytherite.
Why it exists
Venus's ground is the hardest place of the inner system; its golem says so, and pays for the fight.

How it behaves
- It hunts any player in Survival it sees or hears, at a walk (1.6 m/s at most): you outrun it easily.
- Every blow does half its damage to it, and after 8 s without being hit it mends 2 health points a second (it has 320).
- Its slam and its stomp hit everything around. Lava and fire do not hurt it.
How to farm it
Not a pen but a hunt: one golem walks a region at a time, and another comes after it falls. It mends after 8 s unhurt, so keep hitting. One heart is sixteen cytherite ingots' worth of fire: no coal to fly in from the Earth.
