Satellite deployer
An aluminium and titanium cage on the rocket: it carries a satellite up and lets it go in orbit.
In the game
How to get it
At the grid: 12 aluminium sheets, 6 titanium sheets, 8 explosives, a circuit board and 4 springs. Stack it between the tanks (or cargo) and the cockpit, then drag the satellite onto its slot of the rocket screen.
What it is for
Puts your satellite in orbit; "Fly to its orbit" makes the satellite's orbit the rocket's destination.
Why it exists
Launching a satellite is the reason to build both a clean room and a rocket.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
How to make it
12 aluminium sheets, 6 titanium sheets, 8 explosives, a circuit board, 4 springs.
How it works
- 900 kg, one per rocket, between the tanks or cargo and the cockpit; it carries a satellite of up to 2 000 kg.
- Drag the satellite onto its slot of the rocket screen (nobody seated); its mass counts in the delta-v.
- In orbit, engine off: R releases it, 100 m ahead.
