Ring collector
A mast and a fine net: aboard a ship in Saturn's orbit it sweeps a ring dust every 20 s.
In the game
How to get it
Craft it: three strings / titanium ingot, circuit board, titanium ingot / three aluminium sheets. Place it aboard your ship and fly the ship into orbit round Saturn.
What it is for
Ring dust, nothing to put in: eight make a kronite ingot.
Why it exists
Saturn's rings are its metal, ground fine: they are swept, not mined.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).

How it works
Aboard a ship in orbit round Saturn, its net swings across the rings as you fly: a ring dust every 20 s into its hopper. Anywhere else it waits and says why.
