Getting started · Item
Mushrooms
Red, brown and glowing mushrooms, small and giant: snacks, stew, dyes and the mushroom creatures' homes.
In the game
How to get it
Pick red and brown mushrooms in forests, dark and giant-mushroom forests and old taigas (brown and glowing ones also in lush caves); break a giant mushroom's cap for small mushrooms (25 % per quarter block).
What it is for
Mushroom stew (a red and a brown in a bowl), a 1-point snack, brown and cyan dyes, flower pots; three mushrooms together in the dark are where shroomers and sporelings appear.
Why it exists
The dark woods have their own food chain -- and their own creatures.
The same text the game shows in its progress tree and on the item's sheet (I).
Mushrooms grow where the light is low.
